SMS Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: September 9, 2026

These terms apply to the text messaging programs operated by Congregation Bnei Chayil Inc (“we,” “our,” or “us”), the nonprofit organization behind Camp Kibbutz, Kibbutz Mechina, Camp MBM, and Bnos Malka.

1. About Our Messaging Programs

We operate two separate text messaging programs. Both are voluntary and require your consent.

Camper and Family Messaging: Camp updates, reminders, emergency alerts, and other important notifications sent to parents and guardians of enrolled campers.

Staff Expense and Budget Messaging: Two-way messaging with our own staff members. Staff text expense amounts to the camp office and receive back a confirmation of the amount recorded along with their remaining activity budget. Staff also receive one daily summary of their own budget status.

2. How You Consent

Camper and Family Messaging: Parents and guardians provide their mobile number and give written consent during camper registration.

Staff Expense and Budget Messaging: Staff members provide their mobile number to camp administration during onboarding and sign a written consent form agreeing to receive expense confirmations and daily budget summaries.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrollment or of employment.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies.

For camper and family messaging, frequency depends on camp activity and the time of year.

For staff expense messaging, frequency varies with the staff member’s own activity, typically one to several messages per day during the camp season.

4. Costs

We do not charge you for these messages. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.

5. How to Stop Messages

You may stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages after that.

To resume messages after opting out, reply START, or contact the camp office.

6. How to Get Help

Reply HELP to any message from us for assistance.

You may also contact us at office@campkibbutz.com or 732-930-1248.

7. Supported Carriers

Our messaging programs are supported by major US wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Delivery

Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless provider and is outside our control. We are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Privacy

We do not share or sell your mobile information with third parties or lead generators. Our full Privacy Policy is available at https://campkibbutz.com/privacy-policy and describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date.
